Wash World

We did laundry at this place called Wash Wold the other day and I wish I had a washer and dryer as big as this place did. It was fantastic to be able to throw EVERYTHING in one load of laundry and not have to worry about the washer overflowing. The place had a machine that gave you a credit card that you used in each of the washers and dryers and then you had a card with more money on it than you could use and they get to keep the extra. It seems like a good ruse but it was a good deal for all of us. It cost $5.50 to wash one load, but at that point we would have paid just about anything; after all, we can’t be smelling in the office.

On one of my flights over the past little while, I got bumped up to first class because there weren’t enough seats and the airline had made us miss our previous connection.  That’s the first time I’ve ever been in first class (at least the first time that I remember) and I am amazed that those people have so much room up there!  I’m kind of a tall guy and sitting in coach is a little bit uncomfortable (read: impossible to sleep) and those people are sitting up there sipping as many free drinks as they want and stretching their legs out as far as they can reach.  They have their own bathroom for pete’s sake!

I got a great new belt that I need to find the right occasion to wear.  I don’t wear pants or shorts that need belts very often, so I’ll have to have a special occasion that will get me out of my usual athletic shorts and a t-shirt.  I’ll make sure we get some pictures.
