Bills
It turns out my bills are really low when I rarely spend time at home anymore. Between working all day and not leaving my AC on and just being okay with my apartment being a little warm when I go to bed (I like to sleep in a warm room), I cut a huge portion of my bills out of the equation. My monthly bills aren’t that big to begin with, but saving money is saving money no matter how much or little it really is. Let’s be clear. When other people are over at my place, I keep that AC cranked all the way down so it’s nice and cool for them, I just have no reason to keep it that way if I’m going to be on the road.
My credit/debit card allows me to accrue points so I can turn them in for various items. The items range from the fairly crappy (a book light) to the extreme (a cruise vacation) but I’ve noticed one thing from all that; you have to spend a LOT of money with a bank before they will even think about giving you something back. I didn’t expect free hand outs from them, but it wouldn’t kill them to raise the return rates a little bit. I would have to spend around 6,000 dollars over time to get a scale. A SCALE! You know, the kind that you stand on to find out how much weight you’ve gained? That’s a freakin’ expensive scale if you ask me. I would much rather just not know how much I weigh than have to invest in a scale that’s worth that much. It had better also come with a person fitness coach that will get me out of bed in the morning and make me run at that rate.
I think I’ve finally gotten to the point where I need to take the doors off my car. It’s going to take a quick trip down the street to the store so I can buy a wrench, but those doors are coming off before I have to drive around for another week in the warm weather we have!
Again, apologies for the delays in posting.
