Just got back from PT, and let me tell you, whoever came up with, “The Early Bird Gets the Worm” lied. I did not see ONE SINGLE WORM while I was out there on the track doing exercise. I saw plenty of birds, mind you. And I got a good look at them as I was at the abs station. (Do 50 crunches, 50 bicycles, 25 crunch holds, and then 50 more crunches; then try to stand up. You will see what I mean about looking at the sky for a while.) Those poor birds were all early risers hoping to be the first to grab that big juicy worm for breakfast. However, the worms must have been out partying, because they were not coming out for anything. And you know what, I don’t blame them. I would be in bed sleeping too if I had the option. So, another myth dismissed, I have become a better person because of it. However, I can now feel every muscle in my body as I do any sort of movement whatsoever. As I walked up the stairs to my room, I felt every muscle screaming at me asking in a pitiful voice, “Why me? Why me? Why me?” Oh well, I guess you could say it was a good sore…if you were some kind of sadistic nut.

On Wednesday, I have six classes. And, unfortunately, they are not all in a row. Some of you might ask, now why in the world would you want six classes ALL IN A ROW?!?! Well, I live in a dorm that is at least 3/4 of a mile from the nearest class I have; that way, all the 50 minute breaks I get when most people head back to their dorms are spent in the library. Parents and other assorted older folks may be thinking, “Well, good for him, he spends time in the library!”. I am a supporter of the library in many ways, but believe me, spending 5 hours in ONE DAY in the library gets real old, real fast. I get all my homework done, get all my reading done, get ahead in all my homework by at least a day, get ahead of all my reading by at least a day, sit there and stare into space for a while, then go to class. Wash, rinse, repeat. This means that I should be able to graduate in six more weeks as I will be done with almost all the homework and readings for all my classes by then. Each day I spend at least two hours in the library, maybe only one if I am lucky, but Wednesday really is a challenge.
