Anistratov
Look at the title of this post. Just look at it and try hard to pronounce that word. Then, imagine a Russian (I think) speaking English very rapidly with an extremely heavy accent who does not know the English vernacular very well. Done? Okay, that is my Intro to Engineering teacher. He is a wonderful man, just don’t ask him to present PowerPoint presentations. The definition of a boring presentation is one in which the presenter reads word for word what is written on each slide. Sit through on of the classes with Professor Anistratov and you will soon realize that is it an incredibly boring presentation… that lasts 50 painful minutes. He knows his stuff and could teach it on his own quite well through examples, but of course the University wants to get the maximum usage out of these presentations. Not only is the presentation boring; no, no, no: the material IN the presentation is stiflingly mind numbing as well. Thank goodness that class is only one time a week.
